Walking Bus World Record

Walking Bus World Record

As the Phenomenon of the school “walking bus” has now taken hold across the country, a world record has been set, by schools from Kingston, south west London.

Children from four London schools took part in the attempt, as they raised local awareness about the borough’s walking bus scheme.

1,142 children from St Agatha’s, Latchmere Infant and Juniors, as well as Fernhill school, were supervised by adults as they made their way to school on foot , instead of by cars.
