Young Engineers Club

'Go to Junior Engineers For Britain Challenge (JEB) - From Index page'
A charitable organisation that fosters links between schools and engineers. The website gives information about competitions that schools can get involved in (which are free) and fit easily into Design and Technology objectives, fostering independence and team-building skills. Construction kits are provided for the challenges the children undertake, with the winning schools receiving kits as prizes.
Note: The Engineers are CRB checked for suitability to work with children.

Lewisham.gov.uk
An Excellent website produced by Lewisham Professional Development Centre, which is the base for the South London Multifaith and Multicultural Resources Centre. The Development Centre's website is full of Lesson plans and worksheets to encourage the integration of ICT into the primary and Secondary Classroom. They are in the process of updating the information, but it is well worth more than just a second look. You are also able to purchase more comprehensive units of work to use in school, via the site.

Website for KS3 and 4 teachers (although the forum suggests that resources have been used by KS2 teachers too. A fantastic resource, giving worksheets and information to enhance the teaching of music in the UK.The author is the Director of Music at Soham Village College in Cambridgeshire and provides a forum to allow teachers to feedback about the resources too.
